I know the schedule. The split shifts, the early mornings, the way a home search gets pushed to the bottom of the list when you’re running routes and picking up extra work. I work part-time as a Drivers Assistance out of the Coram yard, and outside of that I’ve spent over two decades as a Long Island exclusive buyer broker — meaning I only ever represent the buyer, never the seller. No conflicts, no dual agency, not once.
While Coram is my home yard, this page is for every Suffolk Transportation Service and Suffolk Bus Corp. employee companywide — Bay Shore, Ronkonkoma, Islip, Brentwood, Medford, Setauket, and Coram — and it’s for your family members too. If you’re an employee, a spouse, a parent, or an adult child of someone on the STS/SBC team and you’re thinking about buying a home on Long Island, this resource is built for you.
A quick note: I created this page on my own as a resource for coworkers and their families. It is not an official Suffolk Transportation Service or Suffolk Bus Corp. program, and it is not sponsored, approved, or endorsed by the company.
Even if we never meet or work together, I hope you use the information on this site to your advantage. My goal is to give STS/SBC employees and their families a better understanding of the home buying process, available programs, off-market opportunities, and the questions you should ask before making one of the biggest financial decisions of your life. I am always willing to discuss your home buying needs and help point you in the right direction.
